My session offerings include Deep Tissue/Swedish FBSM as well as a unique offering of a blend of Thai Massage, Deep Tissue, and Nuru. WHAT IS THAI MASSAGE? Thai massage is a form of therapeutic massage that is said to have been created thousands of years ago. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver. The receiver’s body is compressed, pulled, stretched, and rocked. The massage takes place on a large mat without oil or lotion. (although many Thai massage studios offer walking on the back, traditional Thai massage does not include this, and I do not have this in my sessions) DELUXE THAI-DEEP TISSUE-NURU SESSIONS As you enter my healing space, you will be lulled into a state of relaxation by dim lights and serene décor. As we begin with the Thai massage, you will feel your body opening as it is attended to and cared for. Your muscles will be stretched and kneaded. You will experience tenderness and closeness as I move around your body, wrapping and intertwining myself with you as is part of the Thai massage experience. Eventually, we will transition into oily deep tissue, where I begin deeper, sustained pressure into your muscles with long and luscious strokes. I shift skillfully from deep tissue into slippery and sultry Nuru, performed through complete body-to-body contact. You will leave my session room feeling refreshed & rejuvenated ;) A shower is available before and after your session. Aromatherapy is included. DEEP TISSUE-SWEDISH SESSIONS This offering is more of a traditional FBSM session on a massage table.
